PETER VON KEMPF

Peter von Kempf, 48, died March 14, 1996 in Palo Alto. A fourth generation Californian, he was born and raised in Palo Alto. He graduated from Palo Alto High School in 1966 and later attended Menlo College and Stanislaus State University. He spent two years in Hawaii with the Naval Reserve. At the time of his death he was employed as an administrative assistant. He is survived by his parents, Paul and Margaret Stratton von Kempf of Palo Alto; a brother, Paul von Kempf Jr. of Seattle; and two sisters, Karen Thomas of Mariposa and Kristen Englert Munderloh of Windsor. Services have been held. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Mid-Peninsula Hospice Foundation, 65 El Camino Real, Menlo Park, CA 94025 or the American Cancer Society.
